Now users can join beta program directly from Play store

Google Play Store now has a option to join for beta testing for the apps that have the beta channel program. Previously, we need to click on the beta channel link, join the Google+ page and then start getting beta updates. Now Google simplified this process and started allowing users directly join the beta program just by clicking a button on play store.

When you install an app from play store, scroll though the page and you will find an option to join the beta program. In My apps list, Play store has a separate tab named "Beta" to list the apps that were in beta program and indicates the available updates to those apps. As of now, it is started showing this feature on selected mobiles and shortly Google will push this feature to all the devices.

Now we don't need to side-load the apk from apk hosting sites to get the latest features directly into our devices. Just join the beta program and get the updates. This feature will help developers to test the app with selected users and fix the issues and improve the performance before releasing the app to global users. This also helps to the users who wants to experiment the features as soon as they developed and before releasing the app to all the users.

After joining in the beta program, you can leave at any time by just clicking the "Leave" button on the play store for the selected app. When the app got the required beta testers, then it will display a message saying "The beta program for this app is currently full".
